Tutorial on Finding Your Texas Unclaimed Property
Click here to start your search. Enter your last and first name and even city to help narrow your search.
There will be a list a names that are returned including the address. If you find one that may be yours click the check mark next to the name. You may select multiple properties at one time. When you are satisfied you have found all of your properties click "View Details" at the bottom.
All the properties that you selected will then be on the next page. Review the properties and if you still believe that they are yours select the check mark box labeled "Select this Property." You also must specify the relationship of the owner of the property to you. If it is yours, choose "self." Click "Continue" to continue.
Look at it again...make sure it's right, then click "Continue"...again.
You'll then be required to enter your information in the field boxes. Some of the mandatory fields are first and last name, of course, social security number (make sure you verify your number by entering it again), current address, and telephone number.
